its meghannn (10:32:19 AM): i can't think of the word, but the music has no layers to it. its mainly just repetitve lyrics to some crazy tune.

darkstarphan (10:32:45 AM): so do you think less mainstream music tends to be better?

its meghannn (10:37:00 AM): i dont think all music has gotten worse, but i know a lot of it has. speaking of mainstream music of course

darkstarphan (10:38:17 AM): do you think those artists are making things worse for the rest of music?

darkstarphan (10:38:40 AM): or are they just easily ignorable?

its meghannn (10:40:23 AM): i think it is hard to ignore some music, because there will always be someone else who enjoys it making it hard to escape whether it is on the radio or at a school dance, etc

its meghannn (10:42:02 AM): makes a huge deal of their "big comebacks"

darkstarphan (10:42:43 AM): so you think britney's pretty much coasting along on her bad reputation?

its meghannn (10:44:47 AM): hah i think that good music is all around us, you just have to know what you like and be smart enough to find it. you dont have to fall into the mainstream and listen to the same 5 songs on repeat everyday.\
